Here is a little bit about me and my jewellery....

Maria Allen began her jewellery label in 2008 whilst she was studying Graphic Design at Brighton University. After being unable to find unique, affordable jewellery, she began making jewellery herself, collecting vintage charms, lockets and cameos. Her designs developed and she now sources her charms and pendants for her costume jewellery collection from all over the world.

Since graduating in 2011, Maria has designed a brand new jewellery collection made from etched cherry wood that features custom made letter necklaces, ampersands, animals and birds, stemming from her inspirations which include typography, travel and nature.

As well as online, her jewellery collections are stocked in boutiques worldwide and also sold at exhibitions and shows in the UK, and will be at The Clothes Show Live at the NEC in December 2011.

Maria has also recently created an exclusive Alice in Wonderland themed range for the Tate Galleries, which will be available for sale in the Tate Liverpool and Tate Britain gift shops and also on the online Tate shop, between November 2011 and January 2012.
